Urgent Help Needed!
Urgent Need - January, 2017!!! Hepatitis B Vaccine is mandatory for all health employees in the U.S. but in Sierra Leone it isn't even available. Panguma Hospital has 80 dedicated employees who put their lives and the the lives of their families on the line every day when they come to work due to this highly communicable disease. There is no treatment for Hepatitis B in Sierra Leone. Recently a medical supply house offered us the vaccine at 30% of retail price. A donor offered to match any donations up to $5000 through January 20th. Please help us to raise the money needed ($7800) to take this vaccine back with us when we return to Sierra Leone 1/27/17! Help us protect these employees who are ministering to the sick in Sierra Leone!
West African Education and Medical Mission (WAEMM) was founded in 2009 to provide a means for our contributors to help us in aiding the people of West African countries. WAEMM is a non-profit 501c3 corporation that accepts charitable donations for WAEMM projects in West Africa. The projects are chosen by the board and include education and medical objectives as well as many other projects to help achieve the goals of this mission. Check out our Projects Page to see what we are doing now as well as what projects we have accomplished in the past.
